MISKI BREWING

Catalyst was hired to gain attention around the regional launch of this innovative craft brewery, who wanted to make a splash in the Barrie, Toronto and Hamilton markets. Their certified organic, gluten-free beer made 100% from quinoa caters to the growing demand for healthier and diverse beer options and comes in four original, tasty recipes. Catalyst generated exposure to over 250,000 new eyes on the Miski brand in just under 6 weeks, creating buzz in their local and craft beer market while increasing local sales - prior to their LCBO launch at the end of summer. Miski Brewing's 6,000 square foot Barrie facility is a sustainable operation, minimizing waste and upholding their values of environmental sustainability, and organic and fair-trade practices. Miski Beers are all Vegan, Kosher, Organic and Gluten-Free Certified.


MARNIE & MICHAEL

Catalyst works with luxury artisan leather goods retailer meets mental health initiative, to build their brand awareness across new customer channels, while creating a path of influence for Founder, Jennifer St. John and her important cause. Catalyst uses their contacts across Fashion, Retail, Business and Wellness publishers and podcasts and create a Media Relations strategy to target ideal customers nation-wide.


TOPPER’S PIZZA CANADA

Catalyst was agency of record for one of Canada’s most popular and iconic pizza brands. Founded in 1982, the company began franchising in 1992 and grew to 37 pizzerias throughout Ontario. As brand champion and marketing PR firm, Catalyst role was Franchise Promotion, Public Relations, Social Media engagement as well as promoting a record setting fundraising campaign with Toronto Hospital for Sick Children - this one event garnering dozens of news media stories and over 460,000 new eyes and ears over a 10 week campaign. TWO SISTERS NATURALS

When it comes to embodying the feeling and power of your products onto your website, there is research and insight that needs to go into your copywriting. That’s exactly what Catalyst helped Two Sisters Naturals do - all of the history, research, ingredients and storytelling needed to be captured on their website to bring it into a more refined and competitive space. Catalyst was able to capture their process and their personalities while giving shoppers an immersive experience for their over 50 products.


MOTHER DAUGHTER EMPOWER

Catalyst assisted in the launch of Mother Daughter Empower, a social enterprise started by Tara Filteau and her eight year old daughter. Catalyst built buzz locally through regional media while engaging a social media influencer campaign in promotion of their 2019 Mother Daughter Retreat - including contest promotion as well as their upcoming 2020 national Mother Daughter Conference. Results included local TV, radio as well as reach of 250,000 from influencer and other media efforts.


COLLINGWOOD KOMBUCHA

Catalyst was hired to complete a brand positioning process for this premium, local Kombucha company out of Collingwood Ontario. With heavy competition, and desire to attract a premium buyer, CK wanted a brand that would appeal ahead of competitors while standing out as a local attraction. Catalyst took it to a competitor and research analysis with website and social audit, followed by Key Message and Communications Plan that would put the company on the map.


NEW SNACK FOOD - HEALTH FOOD/RETAIL

Catalyst was hired to launch a strategic PR & social media campaign for KunaPops!, in anticipation for their 2017 national retail launch. In three short months, Catalyst accomplished a consistent and professional brand following on all social media channels which established the ground work for a strong online brand presence. Media relations efforts resulted in successful mentions by leading Health and Grocery publications such as Food in Canada, Canadian Grocer as well as various Toronto food and lifestyle bloggers.  Influencer campaigns yielded 60 new relationships and product sample requests from influencers and bloggers from across GTA and Canada which broadened awareness through online stories, shares and posts.


ALL STAR COFFEE - GRAVENHURST, ONTARIO

Born out of a desire to send as many kids through sports as possible, the fundraising platform of All Star Coffee was born. Catalyst was a part of the development team of a online, community fundraising platform for kids sports teams! All Star Coffee was built on the premise of helping parents and coaches to support kids with a seamless, easy-to-execute fundraising platform with their fresh, artisan coffee beans. This project was in line with Catalyst’s vision and we offered to help position their product in a way that would make lasting impact on the business model and the customer’s they were trying to reach.


 

NEW PRODUCT - GARDEN HALO

Catalyst jumped on board to help with the branding and product launch for the latest gardening product from Quick Garden. The Quick Garden HALO is a lightweight, hassle free gardening system that allows the weekend gardener to create vibrant blooms in the most awkward of spaces in under an hour. Its quick installation and maintenance free design leaves  no digging, no weeding and less watering. Catalyst has secured local and national media and blogger coverage for their Spring 2016 launch including North American trade and consumer outlets Garden Centre Magazine, Our Homes and Canadian Gardening


AWARD WINNING START UP - CHICKAPEA PASTA

Catalyst was thrilled to be involved in the brand launch of mom-preneur Shelby Taylor and bring her Chickapea Pasta – a healthy, super-nutritious and gluten-free pasta made from organic chickpeas and lentils – to market.  Our involvement began with brand positioning in order to place this product as unique in the highly competitive healthy/pasta market, along with some targeted audience messaging. We then rolled out a launch plan which included; blog writing, content articles, social media engagement, media outreach and support for a crucial KickStarter campaign - they were voted Staff Pick on day one of their 30 day campaign and surpassed their original goal in three weeks! The goal was to gain awareness among consumers, while at the same time, building a new following who would be interested in the unique benefits of the product.


FOOD SERVICE - NOT YER GRANNY'S GRANOLA

Catalyst was hired to provide social media and PR support for a popular local distributor of a healthy line of gourmet snacking granolahhh. Sourcing non GMO, Canadian ingredients, their goal was to build buzz in the healthy-consumer market, and get their product into the hands of as many consumers as possible. In addition to supporting multiple local events and food festivals, with just two short months, Catalyst reached out to local news media, bloggers and introduced bi-weekly contests through social media. Catalyst also partnered the company with the Toronto Beaches Jazz Run marathon which got their product into the hands of 1,000 of their direct target consumers.
