GEORGIAN BAY FOREVER
Catalyst was brought on board to help this environmental group promote their Parry Sound study, while building awareness around a government initiative to push through a new Bill that would see filters installed into household washing machines. This project was mainly focused on Media Relations as the platform of choice, but combined the use of key messaging, strategic communications and social media support. The result was over 20 pieces of media coverage in the first month of the campaign including CBC news, Canadian Geographic, CTV Toronto, ON NATURE magazine among other regional papers and radio.
ETHOENERGY: LEADING SOLAR PROVIDER
Catalyst CC was brought on board to support the PR and marketing efforts of Ontario solar installation experts, Ethosolar - Working with their branding and website team, Catalyst helped EthoEnergy to position themselves for farming, commercial and residential markets. Catalyst obtained successful media coverage in key rural markets and industry publications around huge solar projects and helped to implement educational and sales driven marketing strategies using website and social media.
TERMOBUILD: SUSTAINABLE BUILDING SOLUTIONS
Catalyst worked with Termobuild and its Founder to set itself apart in the hollow core slab, sustainable building solutions market, through Brand Positioning and PR marketing saturation. Catalyst was able to tackle a highly technical product, and turn the language into digestible information for both public and media consumption, while obtaining credible positioning of Termobuild among its leading competitors in the marketplace.
GEEP: GLOBAL LEADER IN E-WASTE RECYCLING
Catalyst was brought on board with Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP) Barrie to assist on an internal messaging and public media campaign. The project included the company's first Job Fair in which GEEP recruited its own employees rather than hiring an outside agency. Capitalizing on economic trends in Ontario and the minimum wage gap, Catalyst CC was able to achieve positive and insightful media coverage and positive internal feedback. In addition to social media messaging and support from GEEP employees, Catalyst CC managed Full front page feature and photo spread on GEEP days before their Job Fair.
SHUTGUN - FIRE SPRINKLER SHUT OFF TOOL
Catalyst was the marketing arm of Shutgun the world’s leading fire sprinkler shut off tool organizing all marketing and promotional content to attract and educate customers in the construction and manufacturing industries. Catalyst managed content, copywriting and media relations that promoted their specialized tool that shut off all types of sprinkler valves including standard, sheared, broken, concealed, institutional, and semi-recessed style sprinkler heads. Catalyst also created Shutgun’s social media, tradeshow and newsletter campaigns which aimed to educate their unique audiences in the trades, construction and property management sectors.
NEMUS - eco-FRIENDLY mobile accessories
Catalyst was hired for brand positioning of this new green product line, as they enter into an emerging market of sustainable packaging for electronic devices. The goal was to provide NEMUS with the language that will set the tone for their launch and provide clarity and direction for their marketing moving forward; including package design, imagery and graphics, consumer engagement, blogs, website, social media.
THRIFTOPIA.COM AND CELL CYCLE.CA
Catalyst assisted Thriftopia.com and CellCycle.ca on several projects, including media coverage around the technology recycling business and their benefits to the community, and planet earth. Catalyst helped spread with word about CellCycle.ca and Thripftopia.com in the Barrie, Toronto and London, Ontario markets.
